How does proto-col tanning lotion work?
proto-col tanning lotion contains an ingredient called DHA (dihydroxyacetone). This safe tanning ingredient has been widely use in the beauty industry for the last 30 years. When DHA comes into contact with the skin, it reacts with the amino acids on the skin’s surface cells causing it to change colour. DHA has a distinctive smell that we associate with other tanning lotions, but thanks to the ingredients in proto-col tanning lotion your skin is left smelling fresh and delicately fragranced.
How do I use proto-col tanning lotion?
For best results we recommend you exfoliate your skin to give you a smooth base for your tan. Sparingly apply the lotion to your skin using circular motions. This lotion takes 8 hours to develop so apply before bedtime to wake up to that perfect golden glow. Your tan will last around 7 days after which it will naturally fade away. proto-col tanning lotion can be used repeatedly without causing any irritation to your skin.
