The active tanning ingredient of Golden Glow by Proto-Col is DHA, or dihydroxyacetone. This is a safe ingredient that has been clinically tested and used in the beauty industry for over 3 decades. Once applied to your skin, this tanning spray undergoes a reaction with the amino acids present in the cells of your skin’s surface. This reaction transforms the color of your skin, allowing it to appear bronzed and healthier looking.
Golden Glow has no bad smell or side effects; instead this tanning spray masks the distinctive smell of the DHA with a delicate fragrance. Golden Glow also contains jojoba oil, which is a natural moisturiser. Another ingredient called caprylic/capric acid works in unison with jojoba Oil to ensure your skin remains hydrated for longer by preventing the drainage of water from your skin. The presence of Vitamin E in Golden Glow can also reduce the signs of ageing.

Linalool - a naturally-occurring terpene alcohol chemical found in many flowers and spice plants. It has many commercial uses, the majority of which are based on its pleasant scent.
Specifications
The Proto-Col Golden Glow’s matt finish allows your tan effect to last for up to a week. This tanning spray is designed to stay on your skin for longer than sun bed treatments and won’t leave patches or blotches as it fades. Golden Glow is suitable to use in the bath, shower or on holiday at poolside. If you would like to maintain your tan you can do touch-ups up to 3 times a week, depending on how tanned you want your skin.
Please note that if you are allergic to any of the above ingredients or have sensitive skin you are advised to speak to your doctor before using Golden Glow. Perform a patch test before applying fully. If any irritation occurs, it is advisable that you stop using Golden Glow and contact a physician if irritation persists.
